By Xiaomi launched their new device named as Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro. Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro focused on providing the massive battery, Powerful Chipset. Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro is the mid range device. This device provides a premium design and look. Its visual experience is good because of the 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display.The in hand feel of Xiaomi Poco X8 is sweet for the average hand. It contains a battery of 6500mAh with 100W charging support that is impressive. It provides you the 120Hz of refresh rate which is good for smooth performance.
Design & Build Quality
The front of Xiaomi Poco X8 pro is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The purpose of using this glass is to provide good scratch resistance and drops. It holds the IP68/IP69k rating for dust and water resistance. The IP rating is impressive so you don’t need to worry if your device drops into the water or if some incident happens. It also survives high pressure. The frame of the device is made up of metal that provides premium looks. It is available in 3 colors:

It features RGB ring lights around the camera lenses that can be customized in different colors to notify you of calls, messages, or charging status. It supports TYPE-C for charging and data transfer. A SIM tray is available on the bottom edge of the device. At the right side the power and volume button is available. The Xiaomi Poco X8 pro features a 6.59- inch 1.5K AMOLED display. It provides a refresh rate of 120Hz which is good for performance. The Peak Brightness of Poco X8 pro is 3500 nits which is good to see in direct sunlight. The Poco X8 pro supports 4K content playback and recording. It supports 68 billion colors which allows the device to take the benefits of HDR10+ content. The AnTuTu score of the device is ~2,283,558.
Camera system
The Camera system of the Poco X8 pro is average but the front camera I think is not impressive. The device comes with the rear camera of 50MP and 8MP ultra wide camera on which you can record video in 4k. It contains many AI Features like “AI Reflection Removal”, “AI Creativity Assistant” and more. The front camera comes with 20MP capable of recording video at 1080p.
Charging & Capacity
The Xiaomi Poco X8 pro features a large battery of 6500mAh which you can use minimum for one and half or two days on an average use. However the battery life completely depends on your device usage. The 6500mAh battery supports a 100W which can charge the device

It also supports a 27W wired reverse charging which acts as a power bank for other devices like headphones, earbuds, iPhone.

In performance it is good because it contains a Powerful Chipset of Mediatek Dimensity 8500 Ultra. The processor is Powerful to handle multi-tasking and multiple-media. The Memory Card slot is not available so if you want high storage you go with a higher storage variant. It is available in 3 different variants:

Compare with previous model
If we make a comparison between the Poco X8 pro and the previous model Poco X7 pro we find that the Poco actually makes different things to make it better from the previous model that increases the price of the new model. Now I talk about the functions that increase from the previous model to the new model. Poco X8 pro increased from 90W wired charging to 100W wired charging, Battery capacity increased from 6000mAh to 6500mAh ( to provide the user more battery life time ), Chipset increased from mediatek 8400 ultra to 8500 which I think is good because the Powerful Chipset make the device experience good. If we talk about the camera both the devices have the same front and rear camera which I think the rear camera is average and the front camera is not impressive because in this price segment Poco has to increase the camera system.

The Xiaomi Poco X8 pro is the mid range segment which provides a huge battery, Powerful Chipset, high refresh rate, high RAM and Storage options and more. All the things make this device powerful. However the camera of the device is average. I think the camera does not decide the performance of the device. So if you find a mid range device you may go with Xiaomi Poco X8 pro because I think it provides everything that you need to make the performance of the device good.
